Brooke understands the art of art facilitation. She quietly, subtly and gently blends into the studio environment, while supporting the artists by respecting their creative process. It is amazing what emerges in such an environment. It is invisible yet very present, so vital for authentic creative growth.
Drawing alongside the participants while staying present and connected, she has documented her work at Art Compass unknowingly on paper. She made visible the invisible, the unique process of art facilitation.
She is not only the artist-in-residence but also the artists-in-presence. It is through the ‘being with’, rather than the ‘doing for’, that a magic studio environment is created, a work of art in itself.
