Marcel’s art is as varied as his life. Sketched diaries tell of the many places in the world he loves to connect with, his first video documentary about his passion for his work, his weaving of his love for different cultures and his water-colours and pastel drawings of his love for architecture.
Marcel is creative, but not just with art supplies. He turns life itself into a work of art, for himself and other people too. He is the visionary and driver of Art Compass, he challenges those who went unchallenged, seeing and recognising creative and human potential. He employs art as a medium, to draw out unexplored human, social, cultural and economic potential in people labeled as having an intellectual impairment.
